Start at Beacon Rebate Model. Registration is free and separate from 340B ESP and Beacon MFP. You can finish initial enrollment before supplying banking information, but your bank account must be verified before rebates can be paid. [1]
Planning for January 2027: HRSA currently lists January 1, 2027, as the start date for its approved rebate pilot plans. Use this guide to prepare your account, and check the applicable approved manufacturer plan for product scope and requirements. [5]
What you need for Beacon registration
Gather the legal and tax documents for initial registration. Prepare the banking items for the separate account setup that follows approval. [1] [2] [3]
- Authorized contact and 340B IDs. Use an email you can access. An authorized consultant or third-party administrator can register on your behalf.
- EIN and IRS CP 575 letter. Bring the Employer Identification Number and IRS letter confirming it, including the entity address.
- Articles of Incorporation. Government entities may be allowed alternative documentation; confirm it with Beacon.
- Current W-9. Use the current form linked by Beacon and complete it for the covered entity.
- ACH banking details. Gather the account holder name, ACH routing number, and account number for the covered entity’s U.S. bank account.
- Certified bank letter. It must be dated within 180 days, signed or stamped by the bank, and show the bank name or logo, account holder name and address, and account number.
Which IDs should you register? Hospitals register the parent 340B ID in Beacon. Grantees register each unique 340B ID. One user can manage multiple entities. [1]
How to register in Beacon
- Enroll. Select Enroll, enter your contact information, and select the covered entities by name or 340B ID. Confirm authorization and accept the Terms of Use.
- Verify your email. Enter the emailed code and save your Enrollment ID. Use Continue Registration if you need to return later.
- Upload documents. Provide the required information for each entity and submit. Allow up to five business days for review; respond to any correction request.
- Set up your login. After approval, create a password and configure multi-factor authentication using email, text, or an authenticator app. [2]
- Add banking. As an Administrator, open Bank Details > Edit Details, enter the banking information, upload the certified letter, and submit.
- Verify the deposits. When Beacon emails you, find the micro-deposits labeled Beacon Disc Pymt. Select Verify Deposits, enter the exact amounts, then Verify and Activate. Confirm the status is Active for each entity. [3]
After bank details are submitted, the status moves from In Review to Pending Verification when approved. Coordinate with Finance to locate the deposits and establish Beacon Disc Pymt as a trusted trading partner in your ERP system, as Beacon recommends. Bank details are managed for each entity; a shared bank account may only need verification once. Check each entity’s status. [2] [3]
What should the bank letter say?
This is sample wording, not an official Beacon form or a guarantee of acceptance. Ask your bank to issue and sign or stamp the letter, dated within the last 180 days. The routing number is needed for account setup; Beacon’s letter checklist does not separately list it as a required letter field.

Already registered in Beacon?
Sign in with your existing Beacon Rebate Model credentials. An Administrator can open My Workspace > General and review the W-9, EIN and CP 575, Articles of Incorporation, and Bank Account Details tasks for each entity. Confirm or update the information and complete any required verification. Existing registrations can be reviewed without registering again. Workspace cannot register additional entities or accept initial registration documents. Use Beacon’s registration guidance for a new entity. [4]
Need help finishing?
If the IRS letter is missing, the legal names differ, or bank verification stalls, ask Beacon Support which documentation or correction is needed. Call (878) 788-8907 or use the in-platform messenger. [2]
Our recommendation: gather the legal and tax documents first, request the bank letter early, and assign someone in Finance to verify the deposits. For help coordinating onboarding across your 340B program, contact 340B Auditor.
