1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

340B Auditor LLC ("340B Auditor," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.340bauditor.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable United States federal and state privacy laws.

This policy explains our information practices. Optional analytics requires your separate choice as described below; using the Site does not by itself give analytics consent.

2. Important Notice Regarding Protected Health Information

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site.

It does not apply to protected health information ("PHI") or other confidential client data that 340B Auditor receives in the course of providing audit, consulting, or compliance services. That information is governed by our written agreements with each client, including any applicable Business Associate Agreements, and by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA") and its implementing regulations.

Please do not submit PHI, patient records, claims data, or other sensitive health information through the Site, through our contact forms, or by unencrypted email. If you need to transmit that type of information, contact us directly and we will arrange a secure method.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you complete a form on the Site, subscribe to updates, or contact us by email, we may collect your name, organization, job title, email address, telephone number, entity type, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our servers and service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits. Some of this information is collected through the analytics and preference technologies described in Section 6.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through the Site.

Impact Profile Builder. Information entered in the builder stays in the open browser page and is not submitted to 340B Auditor. The builder does not send analytics events or save profile entries in browser storage. Closing or reloading the page discards unsaved entries. You can save a profile data file or download a report to your device; those files may contain sensitive organizational information. Use aggregate information and do not enter patient identifiers. The hosting provider still receives the ordinary request to load the page.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request
  • Communicate with you about engagements, proposals, and scheduling
  • Send updates and program information you have requested
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Analyze usage patterns and measure the effectiveness of our content
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
  • Protect against fraud, unauthorized access, and other misuse

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers. We use third-party vendors to host the Site, deliver email, process form submissions, and provide analytics. These vendors may access personal information only as needed to perform services for us and are contractually obligated to protect it.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate suspected fraud.

Business transfers. If 340B Auditor is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time you provide it.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Optional analytics cookies. When Google Analytics is enabled on the Site, it remains off until you select Accept analytics. Reject optional is available in the same notice. You may use the Site and submit an inquiry without accepting analytics.

Google Analytics 4. With your permission, Google receives usage information to help us understand visits and successful inquiries, including cookie identifiers, device and browser information, page addresses, referring website origins, and event times. We also measure clicks on key calls to action, public resource download links, and manufacturer-tool actions such as changing a filter, using search, opening a policy, or requesting analysis. These events use published resource identifiers or fixed action labels; they do not contain search text or selected filter values. Download events count link clicks, not completed file transfers. We send a lead event only after the Site accepts a contact or program-details form submission. We do not include names, email addresses, organizations, message contents, URL query strings, or URL fragments in these events. Google Signals, advertising personalization, and automatic enhanced measurement are disabled. The Impact Profile Builder does not load analytics. Stored preferences and cookies. We store your analytics choice, the provider, and an expiration time in your browser for up to 180 days. If you accept, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies configured to expire after 30 days without extending their expiration on each visit. Browser controls may shorten these periods. A prior choice for a different analytics provider does not authorize Google Analytics.

Select Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice. Rejecting disables further analytics measurement by the Site and clears its accessible Google Analytics cookies. It cannot recall information already transmitted. Declining does not affect the contact forms or other Site features. When analytics is disabled, the preferences panel says it is off.

Browser privacy signals. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and also voluntarily treat Do Not Track as an analytics opt-out. If either signal is active, it overrides an earlier analytics acceptance. We do not load the analytics tag on a new page, and we stop subsequent Site analytics events if a signal becomes active during a visit.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • The right to access a copy of your personal information
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and targeted advertising. We do not use personal information for those purposes.
  • The right to appeal a denial of a privacy request
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights

We will take steps to verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

California residents. In addition to the rights above, California residents may request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes under California’s "Shine the Light" law.

8. Email Communications

If you subscribe to updates from 340B Auditor, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in any email or by contacting us directly. We may continue to send transactional and service-related messages regarding active engagements.

9. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to comply with our legal, tax, and professional recordkeeping obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date above. Material changes will be posted prominently on the Site. Where a change requires new consent, we will ask for it before starting that use.
